What’s up everyone! We’re super excited for you to be reading about us lol. We wanted to write this biography in the most casual way possible.

Our vision for Elemental Studios is to bring a diverse community and grow the Denver dance community. We love urban and modern styles of dance, which is why we wanted to create a space to explore that.

Now you may ask…Why “Elemental”? Well, first of all, we both named our dogs after characters of Avatar haha. Appa and Azula. (If you don’t know Avatar The Last Airbender we suggest you go watch it now … we’re not kidding).

Okay but forreal, we really loved the concept of each element coming together and exploring other elements. Cici is an earth sign, and Serina is a fire sign. We learned how important it is to include all elements together to create harmony…get it? If you didn’t get it, again, you need to go watch Avatar The Last Airbender. Alright we won’t bring it up again.

Originally from New York (Cici) and Florida (Serina), we moved to Denver to explore what the city had to offer. We absolutely loved the dance scene, and quickly fell in love with the community here.

Cici went off to create Perreo Queens, offering reggaeton classes, while also growing her knowledge in hip hop. While Serina went off to create Bad B!sh Club, offering heels classes. But also Bad B!shes In Sneakers, offering Femme Funk style classes.

We’re super excited to dance with everyone and can’t wait to learn from others as we continue to explore each element together. WELCOME! :)
